Since 1972, owner and founder Robert Gasperson Sr. has focused on customer service and business integrity. Robert began his career as a bank officer with the Bank of North Carolina, and in 1972, purchased his own music store and eventually added loans to satisfy his customers’ needs. By 1997, Gasperson Inc was operating eight locations, in Goldsboro, Havelock, and the Jacksonville Mall. Today, Gasperson Inc. operates Woodson Jewelers, Music & Pawn as well as commercial rentals and other investments. It is our goal to make every customer know that he or she is important to us and that we appreciate their patronage.

Woodson Jewelers, Music & Pawn is a family-owned and operated store. Susan Gasperson has been married to Robert W. Gasperson Sr. for 28 years and has helped their store grow with professional and certified gem and fine jewelry appraisals. Susan has over 29 years of jewelry experience and is a 1995 GIA Graduate Gemologist and a 1996 Certified Appraiser from ASA and NAJA. She provides expert jewelry design consultations, loan advice, and jewelry buying services. She is the Vice-President and Accountant for Gasperson, Inc.

Robert Gasperson Jr. takes pride in helping his parents run and maintain Woodson Jewelers, Music & Pawn. When he is not working in the office as a treasurer, he is acting as salesman or loan clerk. Robert Jr. graduated from Campbell University with a Psychology major and is working on his MBA. He is an accomplished pianist having formal instruction since 2003, and has served as section leader in a college choir. His musical experience is very helpful for the music department at Woodson.

George has been working as a professional pawnbroker for over 40 years, and has been working with Woodson Jewelers, Music & Pawn for 38 years. George specializes in providing expert valuations on all of your pre-owned and used goods, including instruments, electronics, coins, and firearms.
